We are having a Community Day at Strawberry Park to facilitate spring clean-up on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 12:00pm.
Free grilled hotdogs will be available to anyone helping. Please come to help the community that we live in, develop pride in the best park on the chain of lakes, meet your neighbors, and have the best hot dogs in America. Below are the projects that need attention and the equipment required:
- Empty the fire pit: Spade/shovel and wheelbarrow
- Blow the leaves off the wood pile and restack: Leaf blowers and gloves
- Split the large stumps in the wood pile into a manageable size: Log splitter and gloves
-
Pick up the seawall boulders that have fallen into the lake and restack back on the wall: Water shoes and gloves
- Cut down the overgrowth on the sides of the park and around kayak rack: Battery operated weed whackers & long pants
- Rake the sand in the children’s play area to remove debris: Leaf and garden rakes
- Help install new Strawberry Park sign: Post hole digger, wheelbarrow, shovels, gloves — we will be pouring new (dry) bags of cement into the holes
Please come down to the park and be a part of our community.
Thank you,
Strawberry Point Bluffs and Strawberry Hill Estates Associations
