Dear neighbors, Just a reminder that our annual meeting takes place in April every year. A written notification will be mailed out at least 30 days prior with the date and time. Our annual HOA dues need to be paid no later than March 31st to be eligible to vote at the annual meeting. A separate annual dues statement will be mailed out with the meeting notice. Dues can be paid early by making out a check for $125 made payable to SPBHOA and mailed to SPBHOA, PO Box 612, Hamburg MI 48139.
Three HOA Board positions will be up for election at the annual meeting, two non lakeside positions and one lakeside position. We could use some new blood! If interested please contact Jim Dwyer at firstname.lastname@example.org or any of the other board members. Thanks for your consideration.
A key was lost at the park on Sunday evening. The key was last seen in the park gate lock and has a camouflage paracord on the keychain. If found please contact Andy Romes at email@example.com
The state of Michigan is urging people to avoid contact with the Huron River downstream of Wixom after a chrome plating factory released a large quantity of hexavalent chromium into a sewer system that discharges to the river.

The Strawberry Hill Estates annual HOA meeting is scheduled to take place at our park access on Wednesday, April 27th 2022 @ 7:00pm.
It’s that time of year again when the weather has changed and we all begin to pull our boats off the lake for winter storage.
A reminder of winter storage rules as defined by SPBHA bylaws: Winter storage of boats, trailers, or other recreational vehicles is not allowed closer to the road than the closest point of the residence.
The JAC has removed the swim raft and buoys and soon to remove the boat launch dock. Picnic tables will be stacked soon and the portable toilet has already been picked up for the year.
Please remove all items from the kayak/canoe rack as winter storage of personal property is not permitted at the park. All pontoon slips must remove their mooring poles and access docks from the park as those are personal property and not to be stored at the park.
The JAC thanks you for another great summer at our park access!
The JAC would like to thank all that participated, attended and donated to the park at the 2021 chili cookoff and cornhole tournament! The weather was beautiful and the event went off without a hitch. This years event ended up having 14 Cornhole players and 10 Chilis entered in the cookoff to judge. Congratulations to Mike Donovan & Deb Converse on winning the Cornhole Tournament and Congratulations to Dave Converse for winning the Chili Cookoff!
When: Sunday, September 26th @ 11am
Where: Strawberry Lake Park, 5333 Gallagher Blvd.
Who: Community and Family Members Only
Donations to the park will be accepted upon entry to the tournament, $10 per player recommendation. Players will choose their skill level at registration: Advanced or Novice. After all players are registered, teams will be randomly paired up, but consist of one team member of each skill level. The winning team will receive a cash prize and 1st place medals!
Bring your best chili and a serving spoon down to the park in a container that will keep warm. No cost to enter, bowls and plasticware will be provided. Voting will happen throughout the cornhole tournament and be tallied upon completion. The winner will be announced and will receive a cash prize and the Golden Ladle trophy!
Additional donations to the JAC will be accepted throughout this fun filled event
All members of the community are welcome to attend even if you are not participating in either the cornhole tournament or the chili cookoff. See you there!
What a great day! Thanks to all who helped make this a memorable event.
