Hello Neighbors!
Back by popular demand, we will be hosting a wine tasting event on Friday, August 12th from 7PM to 9PM at the beach access. Please join us in welcoming Jim Lufty, owner of the Fine Wine Source in Livonia and Vertical Detroit Wine Bar (just named as one of America’s Top 100 Wine Restaurants of 2016 by Wine Enthusiast), as we explore 12 different wines from around the world. Jim and his expert staff from the Fine Wine Source will help us understand the heart, soul and artistry in each and every bottle. All featured wines will be available for purchase. Light appetizer pairings will be served. Tickets are $15 with a portion of the proceeds going to Gleaner’s Food Bank of Southeast Michigan. Annual Subdivision Garage Sale – Weekend of May 20, 21, 22
The annual garage sale has been scheduled for Friday – Sunday May 20, 21,22. As is our tradition, Friday sales are reserved for neighbor-to-neighbor sales, and the “general public” is welcome on Saturday and Sunday.

“I have put the Sub Garage Sale ad in the Livingston Press and Argus for this coming Thurs. and Fri. for our Saturday Sale. It will also be listed on their website!!
I know others have volunteered to put the notice on the Indianola Message Board and put out the Strawberry Lake roadside Sub sale sign on Monday. Thank you. I’m sure most of you have noticed that there will be a Community Garage Sale in Hamburg the same day as well as individual sales. I’m hoping that means there will be lots of people out looking for bargains so we can all get rid of our valuable clutter. Happy selling. I’m hoping, too, that someone will sell something tasty to eat and drink as some have in the past. It’s a great way to get lunch on that busy day.
